Fun Activities With Your Tree.

Picking out a Christmas tree and decorating it can be very fun for the whole family. If you are like many people you have special ornaments that family members made over the years or purchased because they have special meaning to them.

This is a great family activity that everyone can be involved in.

Make an entire night of Christmas fun when decorating your tree. Find some really great Christmas music to play, plan activities like making ornaments or cookies to hang on the tree.

A fun activity to do during the evening would be to pick a well-known Christmas Carol and had each person make up a new, different line than the actual one. The first person would make the first line, and then the next person to be second line and so on.

Purchase tiny Christmas stockings and let your children decorate them, then put a number on each one and each day add a new one as you count down the days to Christmas. Have each stocking filled with candy and as they get hung on the tree, children can eat the candy out of each stocking.

Do you have an ornament that has been around for years and yet nobody likes it but for some reason he just can't throw it out?

Make a game out of it, use it like musical chairs and start the music, and have each person pass it to the next person and when the music stops whoever is still holding it, is out of the game.

Continue doing this until only one person is left and then give them a prize for winning.

Take all of the homemade ornaments and lay them out on the table and ask the other family members if they remember what year it was made, and who made it. You can relive many fond memories of previous Christmases by remembering the fun you had when you were making them.

Now let each person pick which one they want to put on the tree or if there are a lot of them, let each person pick several and take turns putting them on the tree.

Time was running out, Christmas was fast approaching and I didn't have the time or the will to get out to the stores to fight the mobs and search for a new wreath, which I needed badly.

So I turned to Amazon and chose what appeared to be a beautiful wreath for my door. The delivery was prompt and the merchandise was in excellent condition.

This wreath is just beautiful with adorable red cardinals, berries and apples decorating it.

I hope to have this for years to come. A great purchase.
